Why the Bears May STILL Draft Mitch Trubisky

21. Lions: Adoree Jackson CB USC

The Lions have two terrific cornerbacks in Darius Slay and Nevin Lawson, but there’s very little depth behind the two, which is not good when trying to defeat the Packers. Teams love Jackson and he could be a fit as the 3rd corner, which you can use a 1st rounder for as most teams run 3 wideouts as a standard formation anyway.

22. Dolphins: Caleb Brantley DT UF

The Dolphins need a DT to pair with Suh, and Brantley happens to be a top player left available.

23. Giants: Deshaun Watson QB Clemson

Yes, over Kizer people. Watson had a sublime combine and may have put himself back in the first round, especially with Kizer struggling. Eli Manning is slowing down on a great career, and the Giants need to think of the future now.

24. Raiders: Corey Davis WR Western Michigan

I don’t have a defensive tackle or linebacker for Oakland, so maybe a speedy third receiver will help them out here, they could use it to complete their passing offense.

25. Texans: Patrick Mahomes QB Texas Tech

Yes, over Kizer again. At least the Texans admitted Osweiler was a sunk cost and bribed the Browns to take his cap hit. I think the Texans will favour the home grown Mahomes.

26. Seahawks: Ryan Ramczyk OT Wisconsin

Russell Wilson is sacked and hurried way too much even with his freakish ability to make plays out of nothing. Several picks could be made to upgrade the OL.

27. Chiefs: DeShone Kizer QB Notre Dame

Alex Smith is slowing down and Kizer is still available here, so he would make sense as an understudy to Smith.

28. Cowboys: Tre’Davious White CB LSU

The Cowboys could upgrade their corners, and White is an end of first round prospect who can easily fill the role.

29. Packers: Jalen Tabor CB Florida

Tabor didn’t impress at the combine or interviews but the Packers may like the talent he has to offer since they’re desperate to upgrade at corner.

30. Steelers: Obi Melifonwu S Connecticut

Melifonwu has set the combine world alight leading up to the draft and I think the Steelers would love to put him in their lineup, even after spending a 2nd rounder at the position.

31. Falcons: Charles Harris DE Missouri

Charles Harris will be tremendous value here, as the Falcons really need to upgrade the defensive trenches.

32. Saints: Evan Engram TE Ole Miss

Coby Fleener, for lack of a better word, is a bust. The Saints could use the pick trading their offensive playmaker for another.
