2017 Mock NFL Draft: Week 13 Picks

16. Eagles: Cam Robinson OT Alabama

The Eagles have a lot of issues, mainly with the offense. Any position for them could be an upgrade. They go with protecting the QB and opening up running lanes. You can also find a receiving threat or running threat on FA or later in the draft. More difficult to find a good O lineman. Robinson could be the best O lineman from this draft, but some off the field concerns could have him slide. He is better as a run blocker, but can pass protect. He has to work on being more consistent and a move inside to OG could be in the future if he doesn’t improve his abilty to handle speed rushers.

17. Texans: O.J. Howard TE Alabama

18. Packers: Dalvin Cook RB FSU

The Packers have many needs including the secondary, but this year has shown that RB for the Packers has been abysmal. Lacy has durability motivational issues. Getting a replacement to help Rodgers and the GB offense would be best served. Cook isn’t as good as Zeke, but he offers ability as a runner and pass catcher. He’s shifty and runs with more power than you would think. He does have some durability concerns though, but he would offer a real threat in the backfield as both a receiver and runner.

19. Redskins: Desmond King CB Iowa

20. Dolphins: Reuben Foster ILB Alabama

21. Ravens: Tim Williams OLB Alabama

22. Falcons: Quincy Wilson CB Florida

23. Steelers: Marshon Lattimore CB OSU

24. Buccaneers: Buchi Okafor S Miami (Ohio)

Budda Baker The Bucs have gotten on a role lately. In large part due to their defense. While I am still not sold on them on that side of the ball, they do have talent, and it’s a lot closer to being the strength of the team than their offense. A big weakness happens to be the S position, where there are no real playmakers. Budda Baker is a playmaker in the mold of Earl Thomas and Tyrann Matheu. He is a bit undersized, but gets his hands on balls and tackles well.

25. Lions: Derek Barnett DE Tennessee

26. Giants: Roderick Johnson OT Florida State

27. Broncos: DeMarcus Walker DE Florida State

The Broncos are missing the services of Malik Jackson. They are still top notch when defending the pass, but it is now possible to run on them. Getting Walker would help alleviate that issue. He’s not the tallest or fastest guy around. But his ability to get off blocks and tackle in the backfield is top notch. He isn’t a great pass rusher, more of an effort guy, but his ability in the run game will earn him reps early in his career.

28. Seahawks: Dan Feeney OG Indiana

29. Chiefs: Dede Westbrook WR Oklahoma

The Chiefs should be talked about more. They have a very good team in place with very few weaknesses. They are efficient on offense and great on defense. However, outside of Maclin they do not have a receiver worth much. Tyrek Hill is a very young playmaker, but they need someone else, and Westbrook offers a down field threat. There aren’t going to be many players that can chase him down from behind. He also a good route runner. At 5’11” he’s a little small, but it’s still a solid size.

30. Patriots: Carl Lawson DE Auburn

31. Raiders: Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama

32. Cowboys: Dawaune Smoot DE Illinois
