Top 5 Picks of the 2016 NFL Draft: Rounds 3 & 4

Our look at the draft continues. Rounds three and four are the “middle rounds” where the bulk of a team will come from.

Naturally teams want to hit on as many of these picks as possible to build a contender. If you look at the top teams they have a few superstars but also have a complete roster of guys that are very good at their specific jobs.

The guys drafted in these rounds will not be day one starters but all have potential to be very good pros if they get in the right situation. Look at what it did for a guy like Russell Wilson to go later to a team that wasn’t dysfunctional and allowed him to focus on football and not a bunch of antics.

With that said there will be many busts and misses in these rounds but hopefully most of them catch on. Here are our favorite picks of rounds three and four:

1. Dolphins Draft RB Kenyan Drake

Miami was enamored with Ezekiel Elliot but the asking price to get him was too high. A running back was still needed so they opted for Drake who’s a solid runner, very quick, and a good catcher. If nothing else he will help in the return game from day one.
