The 2015 NFL combine is wrapping up. As usual, we have a lot to talk about following this weekend’s activities. More so than any year I can remember this combine has been filled with prospects that we simply had no idea where they would stand at as far as measurables.

With that said, we had to expect the unexpected and that’s exactly what we got- the unexpected. Several prospects that looked like average players on film were burners on the turf, and even some players who we thought were small proved to be workhorses on the bench press.

So what exactly went down? Let me help clear some things up:

  • Trae Waynes ran a 4.31
  • Devin Funchess ran a 4.70 (yikes!)
  • Landon Collins ran a 4.53
  • Vic Beasley also ran a 4.53 & posted 35 reps on the bench press
  • Dante Fowler ran a 4.6
  • Bud Dupree posted a 4.56 40 yard dash and a 42 in vertical
  • Shaq Thompson had one of the more confusing combines, posting respectable but not outstanding numbers (4.62, 33.5 vert) teams are STILL undecided on what position he will play.
  • And then, there was Jameis….
