Who Do You Think is the Biggest Sleeper in this Draft Class?

The questions continue to come in regarding this draft class. On paper, this is one of the most confusing draft classes in a long time. Almost all of the best prospects have HUGE red flags. The entire draft community is scratching their heads what to make of a lot of these guys.

Anyways here is today’s Q:

who do you think is the biggest sleeper (any position) in this draft class?

It is difficult to answer this question especially when you consider that a sleeper is a player that most people consider to be marginal at best who turns into a player on the next level. A great example of this would be the Broncos’ new running back CJ Anderson who got no press coming out of Cal in 2013.

Again, I’m not going to answer with a quarterback because this class is littered with red flags there. I’m almost ready to say that if you can’t get Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, or Brett Hundley then you may as well skip this year (and Hundley is even a stretch.)

So who in this class has the potential to do the same? I’m going to guess Gerod Holliman from Louisville. He leads the nation in interceptions with 14 but he’s not a physical player and that will ding his draft stock to the third round or later. In this NFL players who can change the field on defense are rare commodities and the safety position is becoming more about taking these fast tight ends out of the game and of course covering deep.

Thanks for the question:
