Due to NBA rules, the #1 high school prospect Andrew Wiggins is not eligible for the 2013 NBA Draft. That does not mean that teams aren’t already thinking about adding him to their roster.
According to RealGM, if Wiggins were available in this years’ draft he would be the #1 overall selection… that’s right, over Nerlens Noel.
“I’ve heard 20 teams say they’d take him right now and start him,” said one NBA scout, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
Wiggins has been heralded as the best amateur prospect since LeBron James.
