Matt Barkley Chooses to NOT Throw at the Combine
The quarterback logjam in this year’s draft class just took another turn. After it was reported that Geno Smith would participate in every drill is seemed like every other quarterback coming for a first round spot was going to follow his drill. That is unless your name is Matt Barkley.
Barkley, who’s recovering from an injury has decided that he will not throw. That’s interesting considering that he said just a few weeks ago that he was “a couple days away” from coming back 100%.
USC QB Matt Barkley will NOT throw at this week’s combine. He might run, but will not throw until USC Pro Day on March 27. More at ESPN. Com
