Here Why Clay Matthews Said Rashan Gary Shouldn’t Be Wearing His Old Number Yet

Clay Matthews wasn’t very happy that Rashan Gary was issued his #52 just a few weeks after he left the team to sign with the LA Rams. He tweeted the following after Photoshopped photos of Gary surfaced with Matthew’s old number on:

Of course that caused a reaction from the fans and surprisingly Clay was slandered to no end for the playful comment. I thought he was a beloved figure in Green Bay but I guess when your production tails off so does that fan love.
