Where will two quarterbacks go in the top 5? Who will trade up and what will they trade to move up? Where will the 5’8 Kyler Murray go?

The answer to all those questions and more are revealed in danjr’s latest mock draft.

His 2019 NFL Mock Draft below:

1. Cardinals: Nick Bosa DE Ohio State
If they can’t find a trade partner then you have to go with the best player in the draft which is Bosa. Paired with Chandler Jones, the Cardinals would have one of the best pass rushing duos in the league.

2. Jaguars: Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State
***TRADE***The Jags trade picks 7, 38(2nd rd), 69(3rd rd) & 2020 1st to the 49ers for pick 2. Everyone keeps penciling in Foles to the Jags but they are currently over the cap and may not be able to move enough money around to afford him. Either way, if they don’t land Foles, they are moving on from Bortles so being aggressive to get the best QB in the draft makes a ton of sense.

3. Redskins: Kyler Murray QB Oklahoma
***TRADE***The Redskins trade picks 15, 46(2nd rd), 76(3rd rd), 2020 1st, & 2020 3rd to the Jets for pick 3. Jay Gruden and Bruce Allen could be on the hot seat after 5 seasons & only 1 playoff appearance they may be desperate to make a big move that can extend their tenure. It would take a lot to move up for Murray, but if you don’t think you are going to be there next year you are more willing to trade away future assets. The Redskins also have received 4 compensatory picks including in the 3rd & 4th rounds which gives them more flexibility. The Jets are more then willing to move back and acquire more picks as well as getting back into the 2nd round of this draft after the Indy trade last year.

4. Raiders: Quinnen Williams DT Alabama
Some consider Williams the best player in the draft and if he is available at 4 the Raiders should have a fairly easy pick here. Edge rusher might be the bigger need but you can’t go wrong taking the BPA, plus they have 2 more picks in round 1 to land a pass rusher.

5. Buccaneers: Josh Allen DE Kentucky
This is probably as good a scenario as the Bucs could have hoped for. They need edge rush help and Allen is second only to Bosa in this class. Bruce Arians will get the offense straightened out, and if he can’t with Winston he will find his replacement in 2020 but 2019 has to be all about the defense.

6. Giants: Rashan Gary DT Michigan
I don’t believe the Giants would go after Murray and if they can’t outbid the Jags for Haskins the odds are good they will not come out of the 2019 draft with their QB of the future. In that case they have to take the best defensive player available to fills a need which is Gary.

7. 49ers: Clelin Ferrell DE Clemson
The 49ers need pass rusher and Ferrell was the best player for the national champions who will have multiple 1st round picks. This worked out well for the 9ers as they get a huge haul in trade but stays in the top 10 to lands a premium player.

8. Lions: Ed Oliver DT Houston
Detroit would prefer if Gary or Ferrell fell to them here as edge rusher is the bigger need but Oliver can still provide a pass rush from the interior. Oliver has drawn comparisons to Aaron Donald due to his size and would fit in nicely with what Matt Patricia is trying to build.

9. Steelers: Devin White ILB LSU
***TRADE***The Steelers trade Antonio Brown & pick 20 to the Bills for pick 9. The Steelers have to move on from Brown and with the swap of picks they get 500 points on the trade value chart which is equivalent to the 40th pick in the draft which is in line with what most think the Steelers will get for Brown. Devin White would fill a massive need as they have never been able to replace the loss of Ryan Shazier. The Bills have a major need at WR and still maintain a 1st round pick so this is a win-win.

10. Broncos: Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma
With the addition of Joe Flacco, the Broncos gain some draft flexibility without having to reach for a QB in the top 10. They have a major need at WR after trading Demaryius Thomas to the Texans & Emmanuel Sanders suffered injuries. Courtland Sutton showed promise and with his size paired with Brown, it would create a great size-speed tandem.

11. Bengals: Devin Bush ILB Michigan
The Bengals would have loved for Devin White to have fallen to them but Bush is by no means a consolation prize. He is a tackling machine who is a 3 down LB who will be a day 1 starter and immediate impact player for the Bengals while also filling their biggest draft need.

12. Packers: Montez Sweat DE Mississippi St
The Packers need more pass rush and Sweat is a perfect fit in new DC Mike Pettines scheme. He is moving up draft boards and some even have him in the top 10.

13. Texans: Jonah Williams OT Alabama
***TRADE***The Texans trade picks 23, 86(3rd rd) & 2020 2nd rd to the Dolphins for pick 13. This is a strange trade but all the rumors are that the Dolphins are tanking for the 2020 QBs so i can see them looking to trade for future assets instead of picks this year. They take the 2nd in 2020 vs 2019 & acquire a 3rd rd this year instead. The Texans have to protect their QB who the most sacked in 2018. Williams can play all along the OL and will fill an immediate need for the Texans.

14. Falcons: Christian Wilkins DT Clemson
Grady Jarrett is a franchise tag candidate but whether he comes back or not Wilkins would be either a great replacement or a great player to pair up with Jarrett.

15. Jets:
DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss
The Jets got the haul they wanted to build around Sam Darnold and that can start with DK Metcalf, who at 6’4 would be a great target to grow with Darnold for years to come.
