Cormani McClain, once a top-ranked player in the nation, has had a tumultuous journey. After a highly publicized fallout with Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders, McClain has now joined the Florida Gators as a walk-on.

McClain’s departure from Colorado was marked by significant criticism from the staff, culminating in a public dispute with Sanders. Unfortunately, his time at Florida has not been smooth sailing either. Reports suggest that McClain has struggled to make a positive impression on his new teammates and coaching staff, leading to growing frustration within the Gators’ camp.

Despite these challenges, McClain has not been kicked off the team. However, his behavior has landed him in the alleged doghouse, with coaches and teammates alike urging him to mature quickly. He arrived in Gainesville with a shorter leash than most athletes, and that leash has allegedly continued to shrink due to ongoing issues.

As a player of McClain’s caliber, even minor infractions can be magnified, adding pressure to his need to adapt and prove himself. The coming weeks will be crucial for McClain as he works to turn his situation around and live up to his potential as a top-tier athlete.

Cormani has all the potential in the world, and we hope these are just Twitter rumors. We wish nothing but the best for him and his future.

Colorado transfer cornerback Cormani McClain is reportedly set to visit Florida as he explores his options for the next step in his collegiate football career. The news comes amid speculation about McClain’s future following his decision to enter the transfer portal.

McClain, who has garnered attention for his talent on the field, is said to be seeking a fresh start and new opportunities with a different program. As he prepares to visit Florida, fans and analysts alike are intrigued by the potential impact he could make with the Gators.

However, McClain’s journey has also sparked discussions about the importance of guidance and support for student-athletes. In a heartfelt plea to coaches and administrators, supporters of McClain have emphasized the need for discipline and direction to help him thrive both on and off the field.

The sentiment expressed by McClain’s advocates underscores the challenges faced by young athletes navigating the pressures of collegiate athletics. While McClain may have encountered setbacks during his time at Colorado, there is hope that a change of scenery and the right guidance could unlock his full potential.

As McClain prepares for his visit to Florida, all eyes will be on him as he seeks to make a decision that will shape the next chapter of his football career. Whether he ultimately joins the Gators or chooses another destination, one thing remains clear: Cormani McClain’s journey is a reminder of the importance of support and mentorship in helping student-athletes reach their goals.

Anthony Richardson is a football quarterback with a unique combination of size and athleticism. Standing at 6’4″ and weighing around 235 pounds, Richardson possesses an imposing frame that makes him a difficult player to bring down. He also has exceptional speed and agility for a player of his size, which allows him to escape pressure and make plays with his legs.

However, Richardson is still a risky player to draft in the NFL due to his lack of experience. He has only started a handful of games at the college level, which means he has yet to face the elite competition he would encounter in the NFL. He also needs to improve his decision-making and accuracy, which could hold him back at the next level.

Despite these concerns, Richardson has drawn comparisons to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who also possesses a rare combination of size, athleticism, and arm strength. If Richardson can develop his skills and gain more experience, he could become a dominant force in the NFL. However, he will need to put in the work to overcome his rawness and fulfill his potential.

Well if you didn’t left me sum things up for you: Florida’s defense got pushed around by Lousiville pretty badly and Teddy Bridgewater had an almost perfect performance.

The way Bridgewater ran the offense and executed passing plays are the reasons he is already in the top two on my 2014 NFL Mock Draft. It was so impressive many Florida Gators made it a point to come up and show respect after the game. But this post isn’t about him. It’s about the two pair of Gators that will be throwing their hat’s into the draft, Matt Elam and Shariff Floyd:

I have Floyd in my 2014 mock, so I’m going to have to edit that soon as well. I think both have a shot at being high second rounders, third rounders at worse. It just depends how they stack up at the combine. I’m very interested to see how Floyd looks in the drills.

When asked about drug use Janoris answered:

“I’m done with marijuana forever. I can’t do it, man”

Sounds like he may have learned his lesson, though I’ve read rumors that scouts aren’t buying it.

An interesting random tidbit from the combine interview is that he has 4 children.

It is hilarious, because for all the “good” that Tim Tebow was doing, his teammates were getting arrested left and right under Urban Meyer’s careless eye. Not saying that Tebow isn’t a good teammate, but faith messages DO NOT touch everyone. Some people simply aren’t going to change who they are and what they want to do, no matter how often they are preached to by their peers.

For Jenkins he will get a shot in the NFL because he is a really good corner. He was probably leading the crop of the 2012 draft corners going into the season. If there is a supplemental draft he will be a 4th or 5th round selection. If not, he will be a college free agent whenever the NFL league year begins. But who knows how long that will be.

I feel bad for Janoris but at the end of the day life is about choices.

So to jump on the bandwagon a little, here are five sleeper players to keep an eye on in the 2011 NFL Draft:

1. Ahmad Black Safety Florida

Playing in the SEC kinda of disqualifies you from being a sleeper, but Ahmad Black is a guy that doesn’t get the attention he should probably be getting right now. Playing next to the flashier Will Hill, Black gets overshadowed a bit but when it is all said and done he may be the better pro. Being undersized will hurt his draft stock but with guys like Bob Sanders and OJ Atogwe getting released do not be surprised if someone trades back into a round to grab Ahmad.

2. Dwayne Harris WR ECU

Yes, the homer pick but playing in the C-USA you don’t get much shine, and Harris is a guy that many have not heard of but will soon. Though his official title was wide receiver, Dwayne Harris was Mr. Do It All for ECU, returning kicks, catching passes, getting handoffs, and even throwing once every now and then. Harris is a guy that may never be a star in the NFL but he will quietly impact games with his returns and knack for making big catches in big moments. In every aspect he reminds me of Antwaan Randle-El.

3. OLB Mason Foster Washington

Guess who led the Pac 10 in tackles this year? That would be Mr. Mason Foster. Foster is a guy who is just flat out productive. While that does not always translate into the same kind of pro career Foster is a guy with a nose for the football and pretty good football instincts. He won’t be a starter from day 1 but with a year or so in the right system he can become a very productive pro. Some 4-3 team is going to grab Foster in round 3 or 4 and won’t be sorry they did.

4. Jacquizz Rodgers RB/WR Oregon State

EDIT: I a commenter reminded me that James got a medical redshirt so he wont be in the draft. (But my sentiments remain the same)

I have to put both of the Rodgers brothers on this list, as I really like both of their pro chances. If I had to lean to one I’d lean to RB Jacquizz being the better of the two but both are extremely explosive players and will find a niche whether it is in the return game or on one of the NFL’s quasi spread offenses.
