Here’s Why The Broncos Traded For Teddy Bridgewater

Panthers Trade Teddy Bridgewater To Broncos

The Broncos had to bring in competition for Drew Lock and decided to get it handled before the NFL Draft. That’s right, for just a 6th round pick the Broncos will acquire QB Teddy Bridgewater from the Carolina Panthers just a day before the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Broncos are in win now mode and do not have time to see if Trey Lance can stay out of Liv Cowherd’s DMs long enough to be a good QB (it’s a joke relax.)

Seriously, Vic Fangio is going to draft Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah with the 9th overall pick. I never thought Trey Lance or Justin Fields was a realistic option. Fangio is a defensive guy and can win with a QB that just doesn’t make mistakes and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah fits the scheme like a glove.

I’m probably 100% wrong but that will not stop me from celebrating like I have the Powerball numbers if the Broncos really do draft Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on Thursday.

We’ll see!
