Here’s Why The Patriots Will Not Resign Cam Newton

The New England Patriots have apparently informed those in the know that there will not be a contract offer to bring Cam Newton back in 2021. That is expected considering Cam’s play was up and down at best this year, especially after he got sick.

Some may say that Cam is being blamed for the Pats string of opt outs and bad draft picks but honestly they are setting him free. Even when all the opt outs come back this team still has a long way to go in finding weapons on offense. Cam is going to be free to go to a better situation.

And what might that situation might be?
