The Cleveland Browns Were The Only Other Team Interested In Cam Newton

Per Adam Schefter, there is more to the Cam Newton story that we didn’t know. Apparently, the Cleveland Browns were the only other team to contact Cam during his free agency. Now that isn’t uncommon for a team with a QB to kick the tires on a free agent veteran but it does make you wonder how confident they are in Baker Mayfield in 2020.
We’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out. If there even is a season!
Patriots were the only team to make an offer to Cam Newton. But there as one other team that checked in with him.
