LSU safety Eric Monroe transfers to Texas Tech

One of the top rated safeties on the early NFL 2021 draft boards is changing schools. That’s right, Eric Monroe will be leaving LSU aka DBU and attending Texas Tech the next time we see him on the field.
Here are the details:
Monroe spent four seasons in Baton Rouge before transferring, redshirting once. He won a national title with LSU last season.
As a graduate transfer, he is eligible to play immediately and could challenge for the starting safety spot vacated by Douglas Coleman.
