2019 NFL Mock: October Edition!

17. Patriots: Jarrett Stidham QB Auburn

Stidham hasn’t really improved from last year, but he’s still very talented. He’s only about 6’2″. but doesn’t have the great armstrength you look for. It’s not bad, but his decision making is actually pretty good. This is a Pats pick.

18. Chargers: Anfernee Jennings ILB Alabama

19. Cowboys: Noah Fant TE Iowa

The Cowboys need offensive weapons, mainly at TE. Fant is the best one. He’s not the blocker they are looking for, but he’s an Evan Engram type who can get down field. He’s got great speed for the position. However, his lanky frame does hurt him a bit as an in line blocker. He also tends to bobble catches at times, which will hurt his stock a bit.

20. Packers: Josh Allen OLB Kentucky

Before the season started Allen was a jack of all trades player master of none. He has since shed that label somewhat. He has been so important to the Kentucky defense capable of playing at DE or OLB. He offers intense and consistent pass rush as well.

21. Redskins: A.J. Brown WR Ole Miss

The Redskins get lucky, with Brown falling this far. Due to need and lack of talent at the postion, a player of Brown’s caliber falls. Brown is about 6’1″ 215. He’s got speed as well. I do think it’s a bit concerning that his play drops off the tougher the opponent, but his abiilty as a player is too good to pass up.

22. Broncos: Christian Wilkins DT Clemson

23. Panthers: Deandre Baker CB Georgia

I have Baker as my top CB, but due to size concerns, he could fall. The Panthers are fortunate. Baker is physical, and is a very good tackler. He can play in zone or man. His main issues are height and lack of speed. He compares to Jourdan Lewis, but better.

24. Titans: Jalen Jelks OLB Oregon

25. Packers: DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss

26. Dolphins: Will Grier QB West Virginia

27. Jaguars: Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma

The Jags could use some help at WR. I do think DeDe and Chark can be talented players for them, but they are not there yet. Brown is very electric, capable of taking any pass to the house on any given play. He has good hands, and some underrated route running ability. He still needs to improve in his routes, but its good enough right now to help him i the NFL. He is about 5’11”, but only about 170 which will cause concerns if he goes across the middle.

28. Bengals: Beau Benzschawel OG Wisconsin

29. Raiders: Deionte Thompson S Alabama

30. Ravens: David Sills WR West Virginia

31. Chiefs: Isaiah Johnson CB Houston

32. Rams: Jeffery Simmons DT Mississippi St
