Dan Snyder has completely re-hauled this offense. After sending Kirk Cousins off to free agency, the Redskins decided to trade for Alex Smith in hopes his steady hand can lead this team back to the playoffs.

How will these picks work out in the long run? Here is Cowboysfan1993 with his takes:

1. Redskins: Da’Ron Payne DT Alabama

The Redskins are needing DT and they get Allen’s former teammate. Payne is a mountain with great strength and will choke a run game. He isn’t really a pass rusher, but he offers help for other guys. I like the player, but I feel the Skins could have traded back to get him. Grade: B

2. Redskins: Derrius Guice RB LSU

Guice is a great pick. He has great acceleration with surprising power. Character concerns are what cuase him to drop, but if he can clean that up this is amazing value. Grade: A+

3. Redskins: Geron Christian OT Louisville

I don’t know much about Christian, but this is where a lot of people had him going. He’s still fairly young, but he has long arms and solid athletic ability. Grade: B
