Cavaliers forward and #1 overall draft pick Anthony Bennett has had his fair share of growing pains thus far in the NBA. Bennett has cited that his slow adaptation to the pro game is the reason for his struggles thus far as a rookie. While this is harmless given the potential he displayed, many are whispering he may already be the worst #1 NBA Draft pick of ALL TIME!

Things have gotten so dire that the Cavs are considering sending the big man to D-League:

Mike Brown and Chris Grant have discussed sending Anthony Bennett to the NBA D-League, but the Cleveland Cavaliers do not feel ready to make the move at this point.

“We have talked about it, but I haven’t gone real deep on it with Chris,” Brown said. “There’s a lot of learning he can do here with the team, whether it’s home or away, whether it’s us game-planning for different teams, going to the practices throughout the course of this homestand, there are a lot of benefits he can get out of it.

“We’ve had discussions, but we’re not to the point where we’d send him.”
