Bradley Roby is one of the top corners in the 2014 draft class. The next class will feature a deep, deep, draft pool at corner with Roby likely leading the pack. The last thing he needs is off the field problems to haunt him going into the season.

According to reports, Bradley was involved in some kind of bar incident that resulted in a battery charge.

According to the same report, preseason All-American favorite Bradley Roby was arrested early Sunday morning in a separate incident and charged with battery resulting in bodily injury. The incident at a Bloomington, Ind., drinking establishment occurred when Roby “was asked to leave a bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody.”

Roby could be facing a suspension pending a further investigation into the arrest.

Hopefully he isn’t suspended for any long length of time if the charges hold. By the time draft season comes around, all of this will be quickly forgotten. The NFL only really cares about speed and scheme fit when it comes to defensive backs. Roby will still be among the first three corners taken barring unforeseen Hernandez-like circumstances.
