There is need for a legit #2, but Kubiac loves Walter. He is one of the best blockers on the team, and serviceable as WR. Just his blocking and football smarts alone will make it near impossible for a rookie to get on the field next year unless Walter loses more speed.
Their #1 will not be spent on a WR who will see 25% of offensive snaps if he is lucky. They will go with ILB, or NT, both players who will see 75% of snaps as a rookie. They will give the young receivers another year to develop before deciding they can't play #2.
I agree 100% WR and TE both need to be adressed. I think they might go TE in the 2nd or 3rd if they really like a prospect. Next year is when they grab a WR #1, if the value is right.

I can almost guarantee this year is about finding 2 starters on defense ( ILB, NT ) and depth at offensive line, with some defensive depth also . They also don't have cap room to fill many holes with free agents. They might surprise everyone and go tackle first pick, then 3-4 straight defensive picks. Either way they will not go WR 1st. Not happening this year.

Hi. I'm sorry but I have been wanting to ask this of a mock draft person for a week now. See getting Joeckel (might have misspelled his name) doesn't make much sense to me outside of a financial reason. Resigning Albert would be the smartest thing the Chiefs could do at OT, he ranked 5th in pass protection last year and is a solid run blocking Tackle. He is NOT moving to guard, he said so himself. Winston is another solid Tackle who is still under contract, we also have a project OT to take over for one of them if need be. I do admit we need DEPTH at all the o-line positions, hence why are line looked horrid last year, starters were good but when they started getting hurt, well yea. That being said we need a QB, Geno Smith averages a #10 ranking of Draft prospects. You yourself have him going at 7 to the Cards (who I agree need a QB) going for Geno at 1 isn't really a reach because honestly Joeckle isn't the consensus #1, because there isn't one this year. There are ten players who are clustered together that are neck and neck for the most part. Since that is true the logical thing would to go for a Geno who has the skill set to match the West Coast offense (Andy Reid's), has good mechanics, and biggest hit against him is he hasn't ran a pro offensive system, niether had Kapernick, Wilson, or RG3. Geno's stats are comparible, (will post if asked) to both RG3 and Luck's. It can't be his record because RG3 had one more loss in his last 2 years of college. So why wouldn't KC go with Geno #1?

The NIners #1 & #2 Draft needs are Defense Line DT/DE & NT period! According to this Mock the Studs that are worth drafting in this 1st Rd save Eric Reed, have fallen in their laps. Drafting another midget cover corner is not what would appeal even to Trent "Tiny-Draft Boss" Baalke, when if they have to play the 6'-3",6'-4",6'-5"WR/TE? Drafting Xavier Rhodes 6'-2" 220 CB 4.42-40 would be a much better vaue b/c of his cover skills & range! 4 Defensive Line help these Beast will do:
NT/DT Jesse Williams 6’-4” 325 4.78-40
DT/DE Sharrif Floyd 6’-3” 305 4.95-40
DE/DT Margus Hunt 6'-8" 285 4.63-40 SMU Bench Reps 225 (35-40)

i think the texans could definatly still go wr, they didnt gran any very early last year and none of them made a huge impact on the team this year, they will have to give themselves a second option if they want to really contend and to do that they will ned to adress the issue early in the draft or in free agency. dont forget it was just a few years ago that schaub was near the top of the league in passing, despite running the ball more, covering the hou pass catchers has become to easy be cause the only run 3 patterns of run fakes and they double andre, the rest stuggle to get seperation. i dont feel they need an upgrade at TE yet as daniels is still reliable, he just doesnt score much

Texans will go ILB or nose tackle. No way they go WR. Drafted 3 last year.
TE will probably be drafted, but that will be a 3rd. Our linebackers got exposed without Cush, and Cody is a free agent who is barley serviceable .
Texans go defense in the first.

Don't like your Rams picks...DJ Fluker? If that's the yop of the line OT the Rams have to choose from at 16 they'll go defense first and pick up a tackle later (Lane Johnson at 22?) IMO that's what Fischer & Snead will do anyway...i think they plan on building a championship defense FIRST and then helping the offense as much as they can later My picks for the Rams in their first 4 picks would look like this
1A Sheldon Richardson DT (remember ..championship defense FIRST)
1B Arthur Brown LB
2. Lane Johnson OT
3. Cobi Hamilton WR
and i'll add the 4th rounder too ...if he's there
4. D.J Swearinger S
