Braxton Miller Injury: Will Play This Weekend

Braxton Miller was the victim of a vicious illegal horse collar tackle last weekend versus Purdue. He laid motionless for almost fifteen minutes after the hit and was later helped off the field with an apparent head & neck injury.

After clearing tests on his head, neck, and shoulders Ohio State has given their quarterback the green light to play this weekend:

Urban Meyer said his starter was expected to practice Tuesday.

Miller’s injury, the coach said, was in the neck area and the result of what he said was the whiplash-like effect of the tackle. The neck is still sore but shouldn’t preclude him from either practicing or playing in the Nittany Lions game.
