Money Mayweather Bets $2.9 Million on Michigan Over Alabama

According to several media reports, boxer and Money Team Captain Floyd Mayweather has placed a run of bets on the Michigan Wolverines to defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide in their contest Saturday night. All in all, May dropped about $2.9 million on this game.

According to the International Business Times, Mayweather has placed nearly $3 million in bets on the Michigan-Alabama neutral-field game Saturday night. Specifically, USA Today reports, Mayweather has placed a total of $2.9 million in wagers with nine different sportsbooks that the No. 8 Wolverines will cover the spread against the Tide.

The thing is, these rich guys usually end up winning these bets. So don’t be surprised if YA BOY throws down $100 (#dollarnaire) on Floyd Mayweather’s hunch.
