Matt Flynn was a highly sought after QB on the free agent market.  All signs pointed to him joining the Miami Dolphins or Seattle Seahawks.  Matt has made his decision and will be taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest (that doesn’t sound as good as South Beach).

Here are the details on the former Packers QB new deal:

The contract is for three years and $26 million with $10 million guaranteed, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Flynn agreed to a deal with Seattle after visiting both the Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins over the past week.

By choosing Seattle, Flynn also spurned his former offensive coordinator in Green Bay, Joe Philbin, who is now the Dolphins’ head coach.

Seahawks WR Jonathan Baldwin has announced he has relinquished #15 to Flynn and will be wearing #89 in 2012.
