2012 NFL Mock Draft: Dallas Cowboys

By
Updated: October 16, 2011

Oh boy, the Cowboys. Where do I start? This team has all the talent in the world and just cannot get it done. People blame it on Tony Romo’s decision making, Terrance Newman and Mike Jenkins’ inability to shut down receivers, and even Jerry Jones for meddling too much in team affairs. All may be true but you cannot deny that this team is a player or two away from making a lot of noise.

Time will tell if the Cowboys put it together and make a deep run, but as of now there will be more questions than answers yet again. Can Romo be the man? Can Felix Jones stay healthy? Will Dez Bryant get the ball enough?

Member cowboys4life posted his thoughts on how the Cowboys may draft this Spring. Let us know how you feel about this Cowboy Nation!

Mock Below:

1

Cowboys

Claiborne, Morris

CB from LSU

Their pass D has been awful. Claiborne is a good replacement. He comes from a defense base that uses high i.q. guys. He can make plays and that is what they Cowboys need

2

Cowboys

Curry, Vinny

DE from Marshall

They need a DE who can do anything. Curry can play inside or outside. He is a good player who knows how to make plays.

3

Cowboys

Lewis, Travis

OLB from Oklahoma

He has dropped because he hurt his foot. However, Lewis is a beast. He can be a Ware type player.

4

Cowboys

Lester, Robert

S from Alabama

Again the pass D is bad. Lester is a playmaker and can hit . He plays the ball well and can do better than what they have now

5

Cowboys

Moore, Kellen

QB from Boise State

Cowboys need to look to the future. Moore is one of the best to ever play. Yes smaller then others but he can make every throw

6

Cowboys

Brooks, Jaymes

OG from Virginia Tech

They still need OL help

7

Cowboys

Demps, Jeff

RB from Florida

Cowboys just need some playmakers. He is super fast and can return kicks
