As more and more Juniors exit the college ranks for NFL pastures, there is one player that won’t be joining them.   Houston’s Case Keenum who suffered a torn ACL in his Senior season will be back for a 6th year.  The NCAA has set a precedent in the C-USA as of late, granting a 6th year to ECU’s Patrick Pinkney just a season ago.

Keenum is expected to break Timmy Chang’s all time passing record of 17,02 yards next year.  He currently stands at fifth with 13,586 yards. Keenum will likely come into the year as a Heisman candidate and the second rated quarterback in the 2012 NFL Draft behind Andrew Luck.
