It’s not weird that a MLB team would draft a college football player. Many scouts feel that college football players have more than enough athleticism to translate into decent baseball players after they develop in the minors. That’s why the Boston Red Sox have spent a 29th round pick on Florida QB Jeff Driskel.

Well, look at that — Boston Red Sox select Florida Gators’ QB Jeff Driskel in the 29th round of the #MLBDraft.
