Since then, Titus has rebranded as a heel (bad guy) and is doing a new gimmick which is a throwback to his days as a football player. Titus has held press conferences for the last few weeks after his losses in which only one person attends: WWE’s Tom Phillips.

This week’s press conference was hilarious as Titus did his own version of Cam Newton’s latest press conference complete with hat and all:

The Titus Brand is quietly becoming one of the most entertaining things in the entire WWE.

So what will LaQuan do if he doesn’t hear his name in the 2016 draft?

According to reports he’s got his eye on becoming a WWE Superstar:

“I feel like once that’s over with, the WWE is calling my name,” McGowan said, adding he’s already spoken to a “couple of people” in the industry who “said they might be interested and talked to me a little bit about the process and how stuff works.”

It’s good to hear he’s already gotten in good with Jim Ross. With Mark Henry retiring soon and Titus O’Neil’s future with the company at a crossroads, it wouldn’t hurt to sign another larger than life African American superstar.

Who knows? Maybe the big man LaQuan can be the next Viscera or Mark Henry himself…. and that would be best for business.

Who would have thought that the Rock would have came back to WWE and wrestle several matches? Dwayne was even the one to take the belt off CM Punk after his 400 plus day reign, which no one saw coming at all.

What other things that have happened are completely shocking?

Well, we compiled a fun list of such things that shocked us:

1. Brock Lesnar Returns

Who would have thought that after holding the UFC title Brock Lesnar would come home to WWE? Years later we are all chanting suplex city and watching Mr. Lesnar mow through the roster. We all wanted to see someone finally destroy John Cena and are happy Brock Lesnar came back to grant our wishes.

To spice things up, Vince McMahon’s “Mr. McMahon” character has reprised his role on television. At the age of 70, Vince is out there taking bumps and doing whatever it takes to put over the new top dog Roman Reigns. The fans seem to still be lukewarm on the whole Reigns as champ thing but again the roster is depleted and there are really no other options.

Or are there?

The WWE has announced that this Sunday the Royal Rumble match will be a “winner take all” match in which the last man standing will be the NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, and the Wyatt Family are all confirmed to be in the match.

Can Roman once again conquer the odds or will his reign be short like leprechauns?

Poppa Pump is one of the funniest unintentionally funny heel characters of all time. He was over from the moment he clubbed his brother in the back with a forearm and went to the NWO and the rest is history. Always one to take himself too serious, Steiner did it in a way that made it clear he’d kick your a** if you thought about laughing.

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson is heading back out on the field.

The pro-wrestler-turned-actor-producer (and former University of Miami defensive tackle) and producing partner Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions have partnered with production companyLeft/Right and sports agency Athletes First to create a documentary series about college football players’ intense preparation for the NFL draft. The series will follow some of the unique stories of the players and agents experiencing the physically and emotionally grueling four-month battle through All-Star games, the NFL Combine, Pro Day workouts and non-stop training in an all-out-effort to their achieve dreams of being drafted by an NFL team.

Several of these shows have been done before, including ESPN’s own and they are usually kind of heart breaking to be honest. These guys train like madmen, put their lives on hold to chase a dream, and ultimately most NFL careers are less than four complete seasons.

Rock’s show won’t be immune to the fact that one day we’ll look back and say, “Oh wasn’t XYZ on that Rock show?”

Hopefully whoever gets signed for this series can make a career and avoid being an after thought.
