UCLA’s Myles Jack Out For the Season With Knee Injury

UCLA’s Myles Jack is one of the top linebacker prospects in the nation, and now unfortunately his season is going to be cut short. Jack suffered a knee injury in practice and the prognosis isn’t looking too well:

UCLA linebacker Myles Jack is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury, reports Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register.

Jack sustained the injury in practice on Tuesday.

In 2015 Jack posted 15 sacks and an interception in three games.

Wishing him a speedy recovery into next season whether that is in college or the NFL.

Brett Hundley’s Camp Demands to Meet Beyonce Along with Jay-Z

Brett Hundley is currently in the process of deciding whether he will declare for the NFL or not. A projected top 5 pick, he is garnering a lot of attention from scouts, teams, and agents alike. One such agent is none other than Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z and his Roc Sports Outfit.

There is one tiny problem though. Brett Hundley’s dad is trying to meet Beyonce!

“If I’m going to go talk to JAY Z, I want Beyonce in the room,” Hundley’s father, Brett Hundley Sr., joked in an interview with the Orange County Register. “It won’t be a secret deal.”

Hundley might be a superstar one day, so it might be worth it for Mr. Carter to sign him to ROC Sports. We’ll see.

Justin Combs is red-shirting this year at UCLA, so his Dad Sean Combs aka P Diddy knew he wasn’t going to play. Diddy still decided to come out to support his son anyways. Justin got to wear his #20 jersey for the first time and run out of the tunnel with the whole team.

Diddy also cleared up some rumors. He says he didn’t make one call during Justin’s recruitment. Justin did it all on his own and he’s just a normal proud parent like the rest of them. Looks like a great time was had by all.

UCLA Has Offered a Scholarship to Snoop Dogg’s Son

I know what everyone is thinking. If you are a rapper’s son you will get an offer at UCLA just because they have seemingly lost interest to USC. Whether that is true or not, what we do know is that the DOGG’s son will be offered by the Bruins:

When UCLA offered Cordell Broadus a scholarship, the Bruins were doing more than trying to attract a promising sophomore wide receiver and defensive back for Diamond Bar (Calif.) High. In essence, the program was staking a claim to territory in the L.A. pop culture spotlight, for one very clear reason: Cordell Broadus is Snoop Dogg’s son.

As reported by the ESPNLA and the National Football Post, UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. recently offered a scholarship to Broadus, despite the fact that the rising sophomore has spent just one year in high school, and played on the Diamond Bar freshman squad during that campaign. At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, the younger Broadus — Snoop Dogg’s legal name is Calvin Broadus — has a body which could develop into that of a legitimate Division I prospect, but no one knows whether he’ll continue to grow.

2012 Recruiting: UCLA’s Justin Combs Asked to Give Back Scholarship Because His Dad is Diddy

I am not a political guy but this is probably the dumbest story that has come across the wire in a while. Ever since the “occupy” movement, the number of Americans who feel entitled to the perks of life without putting in the work has grown way out of control.

Justin Combs is good at football. He’s a good student as well with a 3.75 GPA. He EARNED a scholarship the same way your children can. Why should he have to give it back just because his dad happened to make “Puff Daddy and the Family?”

There’s no denying Diddy can afford to send his son to college. The entertainment mogul was recently named the wealthiest artist in hip hop by Forbes Magazine, so far adding $45 million to his empire in 2012 alone.

But Combs’ scholarship, which is awarded to student athletes specifically, is one of about 285 full athletic scholarships UCLA awards each year, according to a statement issued Wednesday.

Still, some students are balking, calling on the athletic department to reconsider the scholarship altogether.

“UCLA’s athletic department needs to consider the fact that perhaps there is another athlete on the football team, who could perhaps really use this scholarship,” UCLA student Neshemah Keetin told CBS Los Angeles.

Diddy’s money, is Diddy’s money. Justin worked his butt off and earned his own money for his education. He should not be penalized from receiving that money because his dad is a great business man.

Maybe you should stop whining and go get good at something.
