Antonio Brown always wanted to play with Tom Brady and they looked unstoppable in the one game they played together in New England. I’m not sure the Bucs have enough snaps to go around to keep AB happy but if he will fall in line and be a role player for any QB it is his boy Tom Brady.

That’s right. Tom has announced that he will not return with the Patriots. At 43 years old, it seems like teams are not ready to line up and sign him but Tampa Bay is still out there.

The truth of the matter is that every man has a price. And Mark Davis of the Las Vegas Raiders knows this. The Raiders are looking to move into a brand new stadium and Jon Gruden wants to move on from Derek Carr expeditiously so this makes some sense.

The Raiders will be willing to pay $60 million for two years of Tom Brady while they sell PSLs and find the heir apparent. In a market like Vegas the money is a non factor. Tom Brady is bringing that much value to the franchise if not more if he did indeed sign.

At the very least it’s a good starting point for Bob Kraft and the Patriots to start negotiations:

It is well known that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady have been friends with Donald Trump for years. There are photos, videos and interviews that all show a pretty open friendship between the men. Tom Brady even wears a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat in the locker room sometimes.

So why is it a story now? Well, yesterday Donald Trump revealed that Bill Belichick sent him a letter of support due to the “negative slant” the “media” has given Trump.

Here are the details:

“Congratulations on a tremendous campaign. You have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media, and have come out beautifully – beautifully. You’ve proved to be the ultimate competitor and fighter. Your leadership is amazing. I have always had tremendous respect for you, but the toughness and perseverance you have displayed over the past year is remarkable. Hopefully tomorrow’s election results will give the opportunity to make America great again. Best wishes for great results tomorrow.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have finally been punished for the “deflate gate” controversy. The NFL has announced that the Pats will not only be docked two draft picks, but that Brady himself will be suspended for four games.

Filed to ESPN: Tom Brady suspended four games, Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th in 2017, and team fined $1 million, per source:

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 11, 2015

In the long run this only hurts the Patriots if they start the season 2-2 or worse, and if the player they don’t get to draft is a super talented perennial Pro Bowler.

For the record I currently have the Patriots slated to draft Devonte Fields (DE) LSU with that 2016 first round pick.

On a side note does anyone think that any of the Patriots four Super Bowl wins will be asterisked now? I doubt they will, but it’s just food for thought.

The Patriots will begin 2016 in a tough spot. Someone tell Jimmy Garoppolo that his time may just be now.
