All that has changed now that Trent took his talents to the NFL and Lacy is the man for the Tide right now.

Lacy was injured last year but his coaches say that if they needed him on the practice (we talkin bout practice?!) field today, he could go.

On Wednesday, Alabama coach Nick Saban said as much for back Eddie Lacy, who missed all of spring practices because of surgery. In fact, Lacy would be ”cleared to practice if practice began today,” according to the head coach.

“Eddie Lacy has done extremely well over the summer,” Saban told reporters. “We continue to work hard to try to get the conditioning level of these players back to where they’ll be able to be prepared to have a full role on the team.”

Eddie Lacy is one of the top running back prospects in the 2012 NFL Draft. With a good season, he could be one of the first runners taken next spring.

Peep the video above where Trent takes a cancer survivor to the Senior prom. He didn’t have to do this but did it anyways. What a nice guy.

Just please don’t double up and wear the pink suit at the draft too!

By the time it was said and done, Tannehill scored 6, and Richardson scored 4 in his respective contest.

At Baylor, Tannehill and his A&M Squad pretty much ended the Heisman campaign of Robert Griffin III. Tannehill is a prospect who I have placed in the first round of my 2012 mock draft in the past, and though I still think Griffin’s personality will give him the nod over Ryan I think Ryan will end up making some team very happy in round two. I said it before and I’ll say it again. There are going to be multiple starting Quarterbacks taken beyond the first round in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Trent Richardson is undoubtedly going to be the #1 runningback taken this Spring. His four touchdown contest versus Ole Miss was part of a Alabama blow out win. Richardson is going to move up in the Heisman Race without a doubt.

“Greg McElroy of #Alabama may be the best quarterback I’ve seen this week. At least today he was.”

Chad Scott tweets on Miami’s WR Leonard Hankerson:

“I don’t care how good Miami WR Leonard Hankerson looks at the #seniorbowl, I saw him drop enuf critical passes this season 2 not draft him”

Several other people tweeted that Florida State’s Rodney Hudson was extremely impressive. He did a lot of work at the center position.

The following teams showed interest into prospects:

Oakland Raiders were very interested in Allen Bailey of Miami.

Denver Broncos spoke to TCU’s Andy Dalton and Oregon’s Casey Matthews.

Don’t look now, but more underclassmen have announced they will be taking their talents to south beach the NFL Draft. As we get further into the week, more and more underclassmen are throwing their hats in the ring. As of right now, several key members of the Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking to play on Sundays next fall. Mark Ingram, Marcel Dareus, and presumably Julio Jones (apparently he has made it official as of today) will all be in the 2011 draft.

Alabama is going to feel the losses of these players in a big way. Ingram is their heart and soul on offense, and quietly had a very nice season though it was not as electric as his Heisman winning season in 2009. Don’t feel sorry for Nick Saban though, he still has Trent Richardson to work with.

Julio Jones is one of the most physically gifted receivers in the draft, drawing comparisons to Randy Moss because of his long arms and leaping ability. Though Jones has been often hurt in college, a NFL team is going to look to select him some time on day one.

Marcel Dareus comes in as one of the top 4-3 defensive tackles or 3-4 defensive ends in the draft. Due to his versatility he will be a top 10 selection without a doubt.
