The top 10 came out, and they have the inside track to the BCS. Check out who else made the cut:

  1. Oklahoma Sooners
  2. Alabama Crimson Tide
  3. Oregon Ducks
  4. LSU Tigers
  5. Florida State Seminoles
  6. Stanford Cardinal
  7. Boise State Broncos
  8. Oklahoma State Cowboys
  9. Texas A&M Aggies
  10. Wisconsin Badgers

I think the rankings are a bit Big XII happy, but that is what the season is for.  Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will play each other, so by the end of the season one of them won’t be in the Top 10.  Wisconsin and Alabama are introducing brand new QBs, so that could play either way.  Virginia Tech is ranked 13th and has the easiest schedule of the top teams by far.  We’ll likely see the Hokies crack this list in a few weeks time.

Mock Draft HQ is the first site to post it’s 2012 rankings. (Yes, I checked everyone else’s site, no one else has rankings up!) What does this mean for you? Well for one it is now much easier for you to create your own mock draft using our application. Simply click rankings and see where we have the guys ranked. If you agree, cool. If you don’t, even better! Healthy disagreements go a long way in evaluating these guys.

As the season progresses we of course will do more and more updates so stay posted for that. And as always if you own a site related to football, or the NFL Draft don’t hesitate to contact us for a link exchange.
