The Browns are implementing an entirely new regime, and it will be built around the stand-out rookie. The No. 15 pick is excellent at catching the ball, and uses his turn of pace to get away from the opposition. Whether the throws are accurate or not, he has the ball-handling skills, and the field movement to make it work, and to trouble any opponent.

Coleman does hope he can emulate Odell. He explained “I do look at Odell Beckham. I do look at his highlights and try to see stuff I can take from what he does.”

Like Odell, he stands at 5-foot-11, yet can out-jump almost any cornerback.

He is so fast and smart that it might take double coverage to stop him. If that happens the field will open up for his teammates. Isn’t that what a star player should do? Yes. Simply by being on the field he can change the game with and without the ball. His Browns might be a far better team to watch this season, and with the NFL Super Bowl odds not yet reflecting Coleman’s arrival, you might want to bet now at Betway.com, you won’t regret it once he dazzles the fans with his touchdowns.

He will be catching the ball from Robert Griffin III. He was brought in to change the way they throw the football. With both men having played at the same college, albeit not together, their styles should instantly click. Whether he throws scrappy passes or airs it out, there’s no reason to think that Corey won’t be able to get on the end of the pass each time.

He won’t be perfect from day 1. However, if given time he will explode. Quite possibly this season. The Browns, more than any other NFL team, have game time to offer players at WR. He will get just that in Cleveland. Then his improvement will come quickly.

Do not be surprised if he’s the go-to man, a superstar from the very first play.

The Packers are coming off a strong season in 2014, winning 12 games to earn their fourth straight NFC North title, but failed to earn a berth on Super Sunday after losing a controversial 28-22 decision to the Seattle Seahawks in last season’s NFC Championship game.

The Seahawks eventually fell short of a second straight Super Bowl victory, losing 28-24 to the New England Patriots, but remain close on the Packers’ heels with 13/2 odds in Super Bowl online betting.

The Indianapolis Colts continue to be a strong 8/1 bet to earn their first Super Bowl victory in the post-Peyton Manning era.

Led by franchise quarterback Andrew Luck, and an offense bolstered by the addition of running back Frank Gore and wide receiver Andre Johnson, Indy will be looking to build on last year’s solid 11-5 record and will be shooting for their 10th AFC South title in the past 14 years.

The defending champion Patriots follow at 9/1. An early offseason favorite following their victory in Super Bowl XLIX, New England saw their odds tumble as far as 12/1 following the announcement of QB Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for his role in the last season’s Deflategate scandal.

However, the Pats’ odds did not fade for long, quickly bouncing back following reports that Brady’s suspension may be reduced, or even set aside all together, by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The Dallas Cowboys took a hit during the offseason with the loss of Demarco Murray, last season’s Offensive Player of the Year, who defected to the hated division rival Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent.

But despite the loss, the Cowboys have held onto their position among the Super Bowl 50 favorites, with 10/1 odds in NFL online betting.

The Denver Broncos, who will be led by QB Peyton Manning for at least one more season, round out the top tier of favorites with 12/1 odds.

The Broncos finished 2014 atop the AFC West with a 12-4 record before falling 24-13 to the Colts in the AFC Divisional Playoffs. Of greatest concern to Broncos fans and sports bettors is the physical condition of Manning, who turned 39 in the offseason and saw a marked decline in his passing yard production over the final seven games of last season, and has been the subject of recent trade rumors.

The Eagles trail the leaders with 20/1 odds, followed by three teams at 25/1, including the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.

The New York Giants, who have failed to reach the postseason in each of the three years since their victory in Super Bowl XLVI, hold steady at 28/1, followed by the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings, who each sport 33/1 odds.

The Atlanta Falcons are joined by the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams at 40/1, while the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, New York Jets and San Diego Chargers remain stalled at 50/1.

Pulling up the rear are the Cleveland Browns at 75/1, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 100/1, and the Washington Redskins at 125/1, while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans share the dubious distinction of Super Bowl betting longshots, deadlocked at 200/1.

Well lets break it down.

2015’s Top Free Agents by Position:

Quarterbacks– this group has name recognition but in 2015 can you really rely on any of these guys? Mark Sanchez, Josh McCown, and Michael Vick will impress teams with their experience while Ryan Mallet and Jake Locker will have teams wondering if there is any starter potential left to be unlocked. Ultimately, I’d say Michael Vick is probably the most reliable of this group and who I’d bring in.

Running Backs– We already know DeMarco Murray is the name everyone is looking at. If he hits the market you may see a dark horse team like Seattle clear out some cap room to offer him a lucrative one year deal if something crazy happens like Marshawn Lynch retires. Sadly, that’s about the value of runners these days. Other players such as CJ Spiller, Justin Forsett, and Mark Ingram could be more than serviceable starters if you can afford them. The group rounds out with an oft-injured group that includes Ryan Matthews, Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren McFadden, and Knowshon Moreno. Then there is are the guys no one may call until October in Ray Rice and Chris Johnson.

Receivers/Pass Catchers– Another big name out of Dallas heads the group in Dez Bryant. Randall Cobb, Jeremy Maclin, and Demaryius Thomas also have a slim chance of being available depending on what their respective groups do. The more likely to be sought after group includes a group of boom or bust guys like Torrey Smith, Michael Crabtree, Kenny Britt, and Cecil Shorts. Then there are the trusty veterans who you know what you’re getting in Hakeem Nicks, Ted Ginn, Wes Welker, and Eddie Royal.

The tight ends feature Pro Bowlers in Julius Thomas, and Jordan Cameron. The class rounds out with Jermaine Gresham, Owen Daniels, Lance Kendricks, and Charles Clay. There will be no short of tight ends available on the market this summer. Teams will be urgently trying to get the attention of Dez, Cobb, Maclin, and the Thomas’ as they are the elite pass catchers available.

Offensive Line– The best players available will be veterans Bryan Bulaga, Michael Roos, Doug Free, Mike Iupati and Orlando Franklin. I look for at least two of these big names to change teams.

Defensive Line– 2014 sack leader Justin Houston will lead the field. Behind him is Jason Pierre-Paul, and the troubled Greg Hardy. If your team wishes to break the bank Ndamukong Suh and Terrance Knighton will be taking all bidders. I look for both of those big guys to get PAID in a major way. I think Hardy will find a team like New England to help him rejuvenate his image on a cheap deal.

Linebackers– the best free agent linebacker is Sean Weatherspoon, followed closely by the erratic Rolando McClain. There are also solid pros such as David Harris, Brandon Spikes, Justin Durant, and Malcolm Smith on the market. If your team is looking for veteran leadership we got that too- the services of AJ Hawk, Lance Briggs, and Larry Foote will also be available.

Defensive Backs– Byron Maxwell will be looking to get paid after a great season serving as the back to challenge across from “the best corner in the game” Richard Sherman. I don’t think Seattle will look to retain him. Behind him are veterans Brandon Flowers, Kareem Jackson, and Antonio Cromartie. Cromatie has allegedly made it known he wishes to play in the New York area so look for him to show up in Buffalo with Rex.

Safeties Rahim Moore, Devin McCourty, and Antrel Rolle will be out there for your needs in the back of your defense. Moore is allegedly looking at $6 million plus a season and Denver is looking to give it to him… so realistically teams may have to look else where. Solid pros such as Louis Delmas, Stevie Brown, and the Landry Bros will be out there as well.

I hate to leave everyone in the dark, so here is a quick update on what I’ve been working on. After long consideration I have come to some conclusions that will change the direction of this site going forward. I made these decisions purely off numbers and put my personal preferences to the side. With that said, let’s get right into it:

1. MockDraftHQ 3.0

Version 3.0 of the draft creator is coming soon. I could have simply loaded in new players for 2014 and called it a day, but I decided to give this thing one last try. I’ve been at this since 2010, 2009 if you count the NFL Draft Notebook blogger days. This is my final swing to make this site my ultimate vision, and if it fails I will take my loss and move on.

It took almost four years, but the competition has popped up in every corner of the draft community. At one time our draft creator was a unique concept (not original I admit) as no other site had a functioning creator.

As of 2014, every site has basically blatantly copied our model, down to the five star rating system. If you look at MDHQ’s draft creator and theirs, there is no difference. 3.0 will be my last spin on this, and is taking a long time to code as there are a lot of features I must be patient and implement for this site’s survival.

2. Goodbye Blog

As you can tell, the daily updates have stopped. I will no longer uphold a daily news blog. The blog will always be here for archival purposes, and to be able to communicate in posts such as this, but when MockDraftHQ 3.0 rolls out it will no longer be the focus of this domain.

As I said earlier, the numbers led me to this decision. Over the years the site did incredibly well until about three years ago when Google changed their algorithms. During that change MDHQ lost nearly all of its traffic from Google’s search engines, while our competitors (including the one who blatantly copied the draft creator verbatim) were somehow rewarded in the search engines. It is beyond disheartening to face this uphill battle, especially when your competitors are rewarded for using your ideas. Search engine traffic is something MDHQ can no longer rely on, and the new version of the site will reflect this.

3. Need a Network

Another disheartening development in this site has been the lack of network support. Initially we were supported by the Fan vs. Fan network, but things happened behind the scenes that forced me to decide to let our partnership with that network expire. Since then I have attempted to get the site into Yardbarker, but communication broke down somewhere down the line. Therefore the site is basically being supported by private advertisers (whom I am extremely grateful for) and Google Adsense. It costs money to run a site like this and without the proper advertisers I end up footing the bill out of my own pocket. Not that I am against footing the bill, but there is no point if the site isn’t experiencing any dynamic level of growth.

4. The Future of MockDraftHQ

While I am extremely grateful for the success this site has had and the platform it’s given to young writers, it is time to move forward. When the new site drops all of this will make more sense but for now please understand the time and effort it’s taken to get to this point. I have a lot planned, but I cannot move forward if I’m stuck down a path that’s going nowhere fast.

I anticipate the new site will be up somewhere between mid-August and October. I hope that you all support it and understand the hard decisions that had to be made.

Or as the great Nasir Jones once said, “Always forward, never backwards stupid!”
