Unfortunately the pro career of the younger brother of the Joey Bosa is already getting off to a bad start.

According to PFT Bosa limped off at practice today. There are no further details but we are waiting.

Jemele Hill recently went public with the fact that the #2 overall pick Bosa blocked her after Mike Freeman posted that he was also blocked.

Why did Nick block them? Who knows. Maybe they wrote something he didn’t like. Maybe there are other underlying issues going on with Nick and these journalists as his twitter history may support. This is the same guy that has shown strong conservative views and has dismissed popular black culture in the past.

Again, we’ll never know as the 49ers are trying to move past this but it just makes you wonder. Will Bosa’s politics become a problem in the future? Will get get banned like Kaepernick did for bringing politics to work? Did Robert Littal really trademark Thotourage (TM)?

Bosa was caught liking tweets and instagram posts that were homophobic, racist, and outright disgusting. He also recorded a video of himself praising Donald Trump and proclaimed him and Ronald Regan as “GOATS” via his twitter page. Take that for what you will.

Here is what the 49ers responded with when asked about the disgusting things Bosa was involved with online:

Team President Al Guido told Bloomberg that Bosa was asked about his praise for Donald Trump and scorn for Colin Kaepernick on Twitter, but the team didn’t consider the issue in deciding to draft Bosa.

“Not at all,” Guido said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. “It doesn’t mean we didn’t do background on the kid, doesn’t mean we didn’t bring it up and ask him the question, but look — if we’re going to get in a world where we’re not drafting Republicans or not drafting Democrats. . . . The way that I think about it is, ‘he’s a young kid, he had a perspective.’ That perspective is fine, some of other stuff he did I think was a little insensitive and needs to learn from.”

Trump knows who his base is and won’t miss a chance to rile them up. We can’t keep falling for the bait, but unfortunately some people will hang on to the false privilege they feel with him in office rather than getting out in the community and actually making America great.

Well, Bosa has committed to keeping his opinions to himself on this leg of his journey according to sources in the Bay Area.

Here is what he had to say about it:

“I’m just getting ready for the draft,” Bosa said, via Matt Maiocco of NBCSportsBayArea.com. “I’m not really worried about Twitter any more. I think the people who know me, know who I am. And I’m going to keep my opinions to myself from now on.”

It seems like he’s wrapped up in Trumps showmanship and talking points.

Here is how he explained his love of the Donald:

“He brings a charisma to the table that (sic) no other candidates I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Bosa’s account catalogued several politically conservative and culturally insensitive tweets that have now been deleted. He attacked prominent figures in THE CULTURE such as Beyonce, Kap, and others.

Here is what he said about it in an ESPN interview:

I asked Nick the same question reporters always ask Cheryl: How are the brothers different? Joey is more competitive, Nick reluctantly admits, and has interests outside of football. (He’ll make his acting debut with a small role in the final season of Game of Thrones on HBO this spring.) Nick loves football more, he says-“I was full-on into it from the time I was 7. Joey, not as much.” He’s also more politically minded. Last year he seemed to delight in posting political takes, including his support for President Trump, on Twitter and needling dissenters. (He also caused a minor social media stir by criticizing Beyonce, Black Panther and Colin Kaepernick, all eventually deleted.) As the combine drew near, though, his online behavior grew increasingly bland. I asked why he seemed to abandon something he had previously embraced.

“I had to,” he says. “There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco.”

I am not surprised. Quiet as kept, there are just as many politically vocal guys on the right as there are on the left in the NFL. Bosa’s conservative views are trash, but he can rush the passer and that’s all the NFL cares about. In the NFL you’re only punished if you go against the establishment and the dominate society.
