wiggins3-300x300For those that aren’t in the know, Canadian baller Andrew Wiggins is regarded as one of the top high school talents available right now. Many, many, many schools want him and in fact schools such as Florida State have already launched their campaigns to land him (including sending an army of women).

In a game on Friday, the opposing crowd decided to chant “USA” at him and that didn’t effect his game at all. In fact he dropped 32 as he silenced the haters: Continue reading

Jabari Parker’s Embarassing National TV Debut

jabariI was perplexed watching Simeon phenom Jabari Parker on ESPN last night. Granted I was flipping between that, the Eagles-Bengals game and the LOLakers, I was highly disappointed in what I saw.

Yes, Parker is battling injuries but he looked like an old man among boys out there. And not in a good way. He had no lift and was just sluggish. He probably should have sat the game out. Not only did he travel five times, he was also blocked at least three times.

Here is what he had to say about the disappointing debut: Continue reading

2013 NBA Draft: Maryland’s Alex Len a Sleeper #1 Pick

Before the season we posted Chad Ford’s 2013 NBA mock draft. A player that he said was going to be one to watch was Alex Len of Maryland. To Ford’s credit, though it is early in the season, it looks like Len is the real deal.

What scouts are going to love about Len is that he is a legit 7’1, has the speed to get out ahead on fast breaks, and can actually finish at the rim. He isn’t as akward as most players his size.

Comparison wise, Continue reading
