Bulls Thinking About a Carlos Boozer Trade

carlos-boozerRumors are flying that the Chicago Bulls are considering trading their front court superstar Carlos Boozer before the trade deadline.  While the Bulls are (29-19) and still fourth in the East, there are a number of reasons that trading Boozer now makes sense.

With Jimmy Butler emerging as a big who can play quality minutes at the 3-4 spot, along with Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah holding down the middle, Boozer’s big contract becomes expendable to a degree.

The player rumored coming back in the Boozer trade would be none other than Andrea Bargnani. Bargnani is averaging 15 per just like Boozer so in theory there wont be an immediate drop in production.

Both teams are considering the deal according to sources.
