For those that aren’t in the know, Canadian baller Andrew Wiggins is regarded as one of the top high school talents available right now. Many, many, many schools want him and in fact schools such as Florida State have already launched their campaigns to land him (including sending an army of women).
In a game on Friday, the opposing crowd decided to chant “USA” at him and that didn’t effect his game at all. In fact he dropped 32 as he silenced the haters:
Andrew Wiggins scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and quieted a somewhat hostile crowd in Huntington Prep’s 61-54 win over Walnut Hills on Friday.
Amid taunts of “overrated” and “U-S-A” from the opposing student section, the Canadian scored nine points to ignite a 14-3 run to close the first half.
