Andrew Bynum Possibly Out for a Year With Knee Surgery

Man, the Lakers pulled the greatest OOKIE DOKE of all-time on the Sixers. This is up there with the Herschel Walker and Ricky Williams trades (football reference). Not only did the Lakers trade a guy that had a bum knee, they also got the best player in the league at that position in return.

That is what I call a pimp move.

Here are the details on Andrew Bynum’s crickety-clack knees:

The condition could heal on its own within four to six months, but that would keep Bynum out until March or April.

The surgeon said that surgery could keep him from playing for up to a year.

Bynum should know whether he needs surgery by December.
