Yes, a situation of “mistaken identity” that could have cost Bennett’s life and no one is even willing to apologize to the man.

Instead the PD wrote a letter about Bennett’s anthem protest, the NFL, and why the NFL should look into punishing Bennett for simply expressing what we all saw on TMZ video.

We live in some strange times. Hopefully one day society can exist in a space where citizens don’t have to be equally suspicious of potential rogue officers as they are of random black men.
