The 2021 NFL Draft showcased a promising crop of quarterbacks, each heralded for their unique talents and potential impact on the league. As we reflect on their performances, let’s re-evaluate the standout quarterbacks of this class and how they were selected in the draft.

1. **Justin Fields (Drafted 11th overall):** Fields’ dynamic playing style and versatility made him an attractive prospect. Drafted by the Chicago Bears as the 11th overall pick, Fields displayed flashes of brilliance during his rookie season, hinting at a bright future in the league.

2. **Trevor Lawrence (Drafted 1st overall):** Widely regarded as a generational talent, Lawrence was the first pick in the 2021 draft, selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars. His transition to the NFL was closely watched, and while he encountered some rookie challenges, his potential remains undeniable.

3. **Mac Jones (Drafted 15th overall):** The New England Patriots selected Jones as the 15th overall pick. Known for his accuracy and football IQ, Jones had a solid debut season, earning respect for his poised performance on the field.

4. **Davis Mills (Drafted 67th overall):** The Houston Texans drafted Mills as the 67th overall pick. Stepping into a challenging situation, Mills showed glimpses of promise amid a demanding rookie journey. He has now been replaced by rookie CJ Stroud from Ohio State.

5. **Zach Wilson (Drafted 2nd overall):** The New York Jets chose Wilson as the 2nd overall pick, placing high expectations on his shoulders. Wilson exhibited both potential and growing pains, leaving room for development in the seasons to come. He has been replaced by Hall of Fame veteran QB Aaron Rodgers in 2023.

6. **Kyle Trask (Drafted 64th overall):** Trask was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the 64th overall pick. Serving as a backup to a veteran quarterback, Baker Mayfield, Trask’s opportunities were limited in his rookie year, but his progress remains a topic of interest.

7. **Trey Lance (Drafted 3rd overall):** Selected 3rd overall by the San Francisco 49ers, Lance’s dual-threat abilities brought excitement. He showcased his talents sporadically, leaving fans eager to witness his future growth and impact.

The 2021 quarterback class brought a mix of immediate contributions and glimpses of potential that will likely shape the NFL landscape for years to come. As these young quarterbacks continue to refine their skills and adapt to the demands of the league, football enthusiasts can look forward to watching their journeys unfold on the field.

Yes that headline is not a typo. The Patriots just defeated the Buffalo Bills throwing the ball just 3 times the whole game. The winds in Buffalo were whipping which caused Bill Belichick to execute a marvelous ground based game plan with rookie QB Mac Jones.

Beyond the fact the Patriots just did that is the fact that the Patriots are back as Super Bowl contenders just one season (technically a few months) after jettisoning QB Cam Newton and two seasons since breaking up with the GOAT Tom Brady.

With the Pats notching their 7th wi in a row the whole world is asking, “How are the Patriots always this good? When will it end?!”

By the looks of things tonight, the Patriots dynasty can continue even if there was no quarterback on the roster.

I think a great man once said, “The dynasty continues, ya’ll die..”
