People thought he could go anywhere from 1 to 5 in this draft, but the injury in China kept him away from the eyes of scouts. In my opinion that move backfired on the court… but he got paid a few million so hopefully his family is settled and he can focus on getting better.

I really wanted to see him fall to the Hornets, but they’re doing Hornets things and will probably take Kaminsky.

Drafting Mario Hezonja is basically exactly what this team needed. The guy plays with a chip on his shoulder, can shoot lights out, and will yam it on a defender if you try to jump with him.

I think the Magic will be very happy with this pick in 3 or 4 years.

Kristaps Porzingis is thought of as the next Andrei Kirilenko with Dirk’s shooting ability. The guy looks the part and knocks em down when open, just hope he can adjust to the NBA game and get his own shot.

A scouting buddy of mine told me this would have been the #1 overall player if he played college so take that with a grain of salt.
