And now waves of hate are sweeping the nation in more incidents that I can even keep up with. The latest involves the Giant’s FB having his home vandalized:

Nikita Whitlock can’t stop blaming himself for this entire nightmare, for all the racist epithets that now adorn the walls of his Moonachie apartment.

It’s his own fault that he and his wife and two children returned to a house that had “Trump” scribbled on one wall and “KKK” and “Go back to Africa” on others. It’s Whitlock’s own fault, he says, that he became another victim of the wave of hate crimes that’s followed Donald Trump’s presidential election victory.

He’d made it, he thought, become a member of the Giants, found a house not far from MetLife Stadium in a predominantly white neighborhood and it was now home.

“You feel at home,” Whitlock told the News Thursday. “You feel like you know these people. And you get lulled to sleep. That’s on me. It won’t happen again.

“It is as much my fault as it is anyone’s,” adds Whitlock, who has spent the season on injured reserve, “because I can’t allow myself to be vulnerable, knowing that all it takes is one racist person to be at the house.”

Is THIS what it means to “Make America Great Again?” To go back to a time when you could openly assault and intimidate people of color?

It is true that a President alone cannot do much outside of executive orders without Congress, but guess what? He (or she) gets to pick the cabinet which runs the country at the national level.

Donald Trump has selected WWE’s Linda McMahon as the head of the SBA:

McMahon has long been floated as a potential administration appointee due to her ties to GOP causes and Trump personally, as well as the president-elect’s history of appearances at WWE pro wrestling events.
Trump lauded McMahon in a statement announcing the decision, praising her as “one of the country’s top female executives” who helped the WWE become a “global enterprise.”

“Our small businesses are the largest source of job creation in our country,” McMahon added in a statement.

“I am honored to join the incredibly impressive economic team that President-elect Trump has assembled to ensure that we promote our country’s small businesses and help them grow and thrive.”

McMahon, who lives in Connecticut, is a veteran of the state’s board of education. She also ran for Senate as a Republican in the state twice, losing to Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D) in 2010 and Sen. Chris Murphy (D) in 2012.

This should be no secret to wrestling fans that Trump is WELL LIKED by WWE as he is a member of the Hall of Fame. Ever wonder why New Day never uttered a word about Trump or Hilary during the campaign trail? It is clear because all hands were off Trump in WWE. The McMahons supported Trump when he had his hand in television (see: WWE’s ‘Battle of the Billionaires’) and now the McMahons are in government.

I repeat: A MCMAHON IS IN UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I think a Lupe Fiasco song describes my feeling on the Trump Presidency best:

What we do know is that the NFL feels that Donald Trump’s election (sigh) will help the ratings.

Here’s how Trump will help the NFL according to an exec:

“Under President [Barack] Obama, the country was intellectual and looked at facts,” said the executive. “I think that’s why our ratings fell. People read a lot about our scandals or CTE and didn’t like what they saw. Under Trump, the country will care less about truth or facts. It’ll be [more raw] and brutal. Football will be more of an outlet. We’ll go back to liking our violent sports.”

Interesting.

So basically, under Trump the media will become more sensationalist and care less about facts because Trump’s base will have the biggest voice? That sounds about right.

Fox News will basically be on a four year victory lap and CNN will be sensationalizing any White House scandals. All those red counties in America will be lulled back to sleep without Obama’s Washington to worry about, leaving them with extra time to enjoy some low brow entertainment.

I expect Applebee’s and WWE to have some record* years under Trump as well.

I’ve been going there for years and have only had one minor issue (they put the wrong items in the wrong trays) so it was a shock to me to see that the business made national headlines for something like this.

That’s right, they are in hot water after some employees chose not to serve supporters of Donald Trump:

A legendary North Carolina chain is in hot water after refusing to serve Donald Trump supporters.

Shannon Riggs and her cousins were turned away from a Cook Out in Colonial Heights, Virginia, on Friday night, when they showed up in Donald Trump shirts and hats, reports WTVR.

Apparently, when Riggs attempted to order from the window, decked out in Trump apparel, an employee yelled “Hell no! I’m not serving them.”

The family’s orders were eventually taken, but they say that they never recieved their food. Eventually, Riggs said she canceled her order and the family had their money refunded – but were not satisfied with the situation.

“Once you witness [discrimination] first hand, it’s a totally different experience,” Lauren Wolfrey, one member of the Trump-supporting family, told WTVR. “I was in a state of shock.”

Other Donald Trump supporters are similarly displeased with the chain, with some individuals on social media calling for a boycott of the brand.

“I could overlook your mediocre food but not your discriminatory practices,” reads one such comment on Cook Out’s Facebook page. “Your employees are obviously ignorant when they engage in such behavior and face little to no consequences from corporate. Keep your lousy food; your piss poor corporate practices and your political activism.”

Cook Out, a chain best known for its traditional fast-food fare and milkshakes, did not immediate respond to Business Insider’s request for comment, but, in a statement to WTVR, the company said it is a “politically neutral company.”

“We welcome all customers regardless of political affiliation,” the company said in a statement. “Regarding the refusal of service at our Colonial Heights location, the situation has been resolved and was resolved that night per Cook Out policy.”

First Amendment. You don’t have to like it but everyone is allowed an opinion.

Unfortunately, with the publicity comes the publicity of some of Trump’s xenophobic ideas. These same ideas have sprang endorsements from the likes of the klan, which Donald has not condemned. Needless to say it is not surprising that people are getting beat up by his supporters and protestors themselves are giving the beats out at Trump rallies now.

In Ohio Trump almost got his share of that violent spillover when someone attempted to rush the stage. No idea if the guy had a weapon or not, but when you’re worth the amount of money Trump is you cannot take any possible assassination attempts lightly.

For what it’s worth, Jet’s C Nick Mangold introduced Trump at the Dayton rally. I don’t need to tell you what is political motives are because I don’t know or care….

Your life won’t get better because this one or that one is in office. This race is really about a few policies here and there and federal income taxes. Everything else is show.

The ringmaster of this show is one Mr. Donald J. Trump who literally says whatever people want to hear at his rallies. Rallies that have become dangerously more violent after certain extremists have pledged their support to Trump.

Not only will Trump not speak out against the extremists (he accepted an endorsement from the clan) but his campaign doesn’t mind that all across the country peaceful people get assaulted at his rallies.

Well, finally people have decided to say forget it and fight back if their peaceful anti-Trump demonstrations are going to be met with violence.
