In a recent development, the Indianapolis Colts have reportedly turned down a trade proposal from the Miami Dolphins involving running back Jonathan Taylor. This update comes courtesy of a report by @flasportsbuzz.

While the initial offer was rejected, discussions between the two teams are still very much alive, with ongoing negotiations to potentially reshape the deal. Notably, it has emerged that another NFL team has entered the fray with what is being described as a “serious offer” for the talented running back.

As of Thursday morning, however, no team has managed to align with the Colts’ demands, which appear to revolve around a coveted 1st-round pick or an equivalent asset in terms of value. This underscores the Colts’ valuation of Taylor as a player of high worth within the league.

Jonathan Taylor’s prowess on the field is undeniable. The young running back has exhibited exceptional skills and versatility, making him a desirable asset for various teams seeking to bolster their offensive line-up. Given his performance, it’s hardly surprising that multiple teams are vying for the opportunity to secure his talents.

While the specifics of the trade offers remain undisclosed, it’s clear that Taylor’s potential departure from the Colts has stirred significant interest around the league. As negotiations unfold, football enthusiasts and experts alike will undoubtedly keep a close eye on how the situation evolves.

In conclusion, the Indianapolis Colts have declined an initial trade proposal from the Miami Dolphins involving running back Jonathan Taylor. Negotiations are ongoing as both sides seek common ground, with another NFL team also throwing their hat into the ring with a substantial offer. Despite the interest and efforts, no deal has yet met the Colts’ apparent asking price of a 1st-round pick or a comparable asset. As the NFL community awaits further developments, the fate of Jonathan Taylor hangs in the balance, and the league holds its breath for the next move in this intriguing trade saga.

Is Tua long for the Dolphins? Well if you asks the man who signs the checks the answer is yes.

Stephen Ross recently let head coach Brian Flores go and discussed with the media why the decision was made. According to Ross, he is a fan of Tua as his starter and Flores’ pursuit of Watson did not influence the decision to let Brian go.

Here is what the Dolphins owner said on firing Brian Flores for Tua:

“First of all, let me be clear, it played no role in it at all. I have a lot of confidence in Tua and I think the next head coach will work with him or whoever else. But I have a lot of confidence in him. I watched him grow. He’s a fine young man, and he is our quarterback and will be dependent upon our new head coach but I have a lot of confidence in Tua.”

It is unknown whether or not Deshaun will be eligible to play this season but the deal will have to be made because the trade deadline is Tuesday. The Dolphins have no assurances on Watson’s availability but they seem willing to bring him in for the future regardless.

In what is the worst kept secret in sports right now the saga of Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson is finally over. Not that saga, the one ON the field. Watson is nearing his exit of Houston and will be traded to the Dolphins in a few days.

Here are the details:

The Texans and Dolphins could have a trade done by the end of the week, according to sources familiar with the negotiations. If they’re unable to complete a trade this week, they hope to have it done by the NFL’s Nov. 2 trade deadline.

What will become of Tua? It looks like he isn’t currently a NFL starter but then again consider the scheme and team around him. He may do better on a team that has a deeper commitment to running the ball and putting Tua in situations where he gets the ball out of his hand faster. Could that be a team like The Washington Football Team?

We’ll see.

Dolphins trading No. 3 overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers for the No. 12 pick, a 2021 third-round pick (SF’s comp pick for Robert Saleh hiring) and first-round picks in 2022 and 2023, per sources.

Three firsts and a third?

Looks like Jimmy G is about to see a new face in the QB room.

We still don’t know what’s going to happen at #2 but at the very worse case scenario the 49ers will be in a position to draft QB Zach Wilson out of BYU.

The Dolphins’ veteran receiver Kenny Stills recently had a few thoughts on the Jay-Z/NFL partnership this week as the hip hop mogul signed on to be the newest producer of NFL entertainment amid harsh criticism from prominent figures in and outside the game. Stills basically said that he will take a “wait and see” approach with Jay-Z, but he specifically did not appreciate the comments Jay made on kneeling. Jay-Z said that “we are past” kneeling and of course that would ruffle the feathers of Stills, Eric Reid, and the man who lost his job behind all of this- Colin Kaepernick.

Well, the Dolphins as an organization decided to take a bizarre approach to this and chose to troll Still with Jay’s music. Somehow they think this will end well.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Dolphinscoach Brian Flores passionately defended his decision to play eight consecutive Jay-Z songs during Tuesday’s practice just one day after receiver Kenny Stills expressed disdain about how the hip-hop mogul went about his social justice partnership with the NFL.

As word of the stunt percolated on social media and the internet, many speculated about Flores’ motives for seemingly trolling one of his veteran players. Thursday, after the Dolphins’ 22-7 preseason win over the Jaguars, Flores was emotional in explaining his reasons behind the action. He said the criticism about whether he supports what Stills stands for is without merit.

“It was a challenge to Kenny to perform regardless of whatever is going on outside,” Flores said of playing the Jay-Z songs. “I would say, and I said this to him, he hasn’t performed up to that level over the course of training camp, or as I’ve seen. So that was the challenge — to get open, catch the football and make plays for this team, regardless of what’s going on outside of this building.”

The move seemed puzzling at the time because it caused another distraction for a Dolphins team that has been littered with non-football storylines this month. It was a Flores-induced distraction done very visibly in front of the media in response to something he was worried might be a distraction for one of his players.

Much respect to Stills for remaining professional though this entire thing.

The Laremy Tunsil situation is one of the weirdest ones I’ve seen in the NFL Draft possibly ever.

For those that don’t know, Tunsil’s twitter account started tweeting crazy pictures minutes before Tunsil was expected to be a top five pick in the 2016 Draft. Photos of someone who appeared to resemble Laremy smoking out of a gas mask were posted to the account along with screenshots of a conversation asking for money from Ole Miss coaches.

Tunsil fell all the way to 13th (Miami Dolphins) after being passed on by the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans who both selected offensive tackles.

Let’s break this down:

1. What did this mean?

For one, it tells me that Tunsil was never the runaway #1 overall prospect. For him to slide to 13th so easily that means that teams generally had him, Ronnie Stanley, and Jack Conklin all ranked about the same.

2. How does this even happen?

All I can think is that someone must (1) have Tunsil’s phone? Or (2) have his iPad.

This is the only way someone would have that kind of screenshots and archived video of you, AND be able to post it at the absolute worst time in your life. Whatever device Laremy’s blackmailer has in his or her possession is still logged in all of his accounts.

I hope the draft prospects learned something from this. For one, this could have all been avoided with a simple password change. Change the password on draft day.

Secondly, stop recording everything you do. 2016 is really the hotbed of the snitch era. I’m not trying to be that grumpy guy who hates on everything the new era does but I remember a time where you avoided cameras. Now these guys are recording themselves- and some of them are uploading it too!

Let’s keep it at this. A great man once said:

Paper chasin’, tell that paper, “Look, I’m right behind ya”
Bitch, real G’s move in silence like lasagna

Get your money. Stop making it so easy for them to take it away from you.

Apparently Miami brass was not too fond of Miko’s twitter fingers and consistent rants/criticism of the squad and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Instead of posting hearsay I’ll let you check out the tweets for yourself:

So its no surprise that rubber met the road and the Dolphins told Grimes to take a serious paycut or he and Miko could see the door. Well… the Grimes’ left but not before Miko dropped #bars on the who Miami Dolphins staff, record label, and crew:
