Lebron James and the Cavs proved that impossible was possible.

Now that Lebron has brough Cleveland it’s first title in 52 years we are now learning what his secret motivation to win was. Was it the city? Was it his childhood? Space Jam 2?

Hopefully Smith finds himself on a more consistent hot streak during next playoffs. It didn’t look like he could miss in the playoffs versus the Hawks but couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat in the last NBA Finals.

If things go right and Smith isn’t traded he will be looking for redemption next year:

The Cleveland Cavaliers officially re-signed guard J.R. Smith on Wednesday.

Smith previously agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal.

Things have gotten so dire that the Cavs are considering sending the big man to D-League:

Mike Brown and Chris Grant have discussed sending Anthony Bennett to the NBA D-League, but the Cleveland Cavaliers do not feel ready to make the move at this point.

“We have talked about it, but I haven’t gone real deep on it with Chris,” Brown said. “There’s a lot of learning he can do here with the team, whether it’s home or away, whether it’s us game-planning for different teams, going to the practices throughout the course of this homestand, there are a lot of benefits he can get out of it.

According to reports, Alex Len is becoming the most intriguing option.

Kentucky center Nerlens Noel, Kansas shooting guard Ben McLemore, Maryland center Alex Len and Georgetown small forward Otto Porter all remain in the mix, sources told FOX Sports Ohio on Tuesday.

A report by New Orleans Times-Picayune writer Jimmy Smith on Monday suggested Len is the frontrunner — but FSO sources said such is not the case, and for the time being, there is no favorite.

Noel is scheduled to visit the Cavs on Thursday, and general manager Chris Grant and his staff are unlikely to reach any conclusions until he does. Noel underwent knee surgery in February, and won’t be able to work out in front of the team.
