The Chicago Bulls are aggressively exploring trade opportunities to offload Zach LaVine, inserting themselves into every potential deal across the league. Despite LaVine’s impressive resume as a two-time NBA All-Star and an efficient scorer, the Bulls seem determined to move him.

LaVine’s talent and off-ball play make the recent disrespect towards him surprising. However, his performance is likely to restore his trade value, making him a valuable commodity once again.

Chicago isn’t stopping with LaVine. They are also open to trading Nikola Vucevic for the right price, signaling broader changes within the team. The recent move of Alex Caruso is just the beginning of a series of long-awaited adjustments.

The Bulls currently have four contracts they are looking to move:

Nikola Vucevic: 2 years / $41.4 million

Jevon Carter: 2 years / $13.3 million

Lonzo Ball: 1 year / $21.4 million

Zach LaVine: 3 years / $138 million

This season appears to be a rebuilding phase for the Bulls, focusing on tanking and developing their young players. The team recognizes that significant changes are necessary to progress, starting with moving these key contracts. The Bulls’ front office is working hard to set the stage for a brighter future.

Since everyone wants to troll the autopost on twitter, I guess I’ll go ahead and drop a post on this trade so we’re all up to date. The Wolves traded Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn to the Bulls for SF Jimmy Butler.

Butler was involved in Cavaliers trade talk but ultimately no team wanted to take on Kevin Love’s salary. Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau is a big Butler fan and coached him in Chicago so of course he was on board to flip LaVine for a proven product.

It looks like the Wolves are in win now mode with Wiggins and Embiid eligible to leave and team up somewhere after next season. And if no one else in NBA circles is talking about it, I will.

Wiggins and Embiid are clearly up to something. They randomly post each other on each other’s instagrams as if they were #MCMs and #MCEs. These BFFs are going to pull a Wade and Lebron, remember where you heard it first.

Hopefully the Wolves can win enough games to convince Wiggins not to bounce and join THE FEDS (Fultz, Embiid, Dario, Simmons.)

With the playoffs just around the corner, and the seeds locked in its time to break down each series and make some predictions.

East:

This series should be a piece of cake for the Pacers, and it would but the struggles at the end of the seasons raised some questions about this team. Despite a sub .500 record Atlanta has talent and cannot be overlooked as the 8 seed. If the Pacers return to the team they were in the beginning of the year, Atlanta will have a serious challenge ahead of them. When this series is all said and done…

IND:4

ATL:1

1. Indiana Pacers (55-26)

8. Atlanta Hawks (37-44)

In my mind this is the biggest mis-match of the NBA playoffs. If the Bobcats want any chance at a monumental upset Al Jefferson will need to play his best basketball of his NBA career, maybe even more than that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will need to find a way to contain Lebron James. If Kidd-Gilchrist has no answer than this series is over before it even starts. At the end of the series…

MIA:4

CHA:0

2. Miami Heat (54-27)

7. Charlotte Bobcats (42-39)

Toronto has a chance to prove themselves this year as a 3 seed, as well does Washington as the 6 seed. Both teams in my mind have over achieved this season, but that doesn’t mean that these teams can be taken lightly. Kyle Lowry is in a contract year, and this series in my opinion will decide if he gets a max contract or not. Regardless the Raptors need to find a way to retain him. The Raptors may have the better record, but Washington is young and hungry. When this series is over…

TOR:2

WSH:4

3. Toronto Raptors (48-33)

6. Washington Wizards (43-38)

This series is an exact rematch of the 2013 playoffs 1st round in which Chicago won. Chicago, again without Derrick Rose have found ways to win. Now who to contribute that to is up to you, wether it be Joakim Noah, or Tom Thibodeau. Brooklyn has gone all in this year with the draft day trade for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. I think this year proves the same as last year. With that said…

CHI:4

BRK:2

4. Chicago Bulls (48-33)

5. Brooklyn Nets (44-37)

Western conference tomorrow. Your 2nd round would look as follows

1. Indiana

4. Chicago

2. Miami

3. Washington
