Braxton Miller is getting a lot of well deserved hype at the Senior Bowl. The QB turned WR is showing off his ability to get in and out of breaks and make some very legit grabs out there.

One team that could need a WR is the Washington Redskins. The Skins have Pierre Garcon and Jaccpot Records CEO Desean Jackson at WR, but there is still much left to be desired. The key is to surround Kirk Cousins with so much talent that he cannot fail.

Today the Redskins official twitter page posted up a short clip of Braxton putting the moves on a DB. Note they have not highlighted ANY other player on their page.

Well, luckily Braxton Miller had his own ideas. Miller decided to change to HB/WR in an effort to boost his upcoming draft stock. Cardale Jones won the QB competition and JT Barrett is his backup.

Braxton also changed jersey numbers from #5 to #1. He’s already putting on a show in just the first game of his new career. Check out the video highlights below of Braxton Miller at wide receiver putting in that work!

While many draft scouts feel that Braxton should return to Columbus, he may have other things on his mind. According to reports Braxton Miller has declared himself ready for the NFL and may very well be throwing his hat in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Braxton Miller is setting himself up to be in serious contention for the Heisman in just his second year of college football, due to flourishing in Urban Meyer’s spread system. The same system that Tim Tebow won a Heisman, helped one National Championship team, and won another Championship with.

The thing is that Braxton is a much smoother athlete than Tebow ever was, and of course a better passer. Tebow is more of a “Bull in a China Shop” style runner, and a poorer passer.

Here is what Meyer had to say in an interview:

According to Fear the Hat — the blog of Lori Schmidt, a sports reporter with 97.1 The Fan — during Meyer’s call-in show with the station he was asked to compare Tebow, the greatest player during Meyer’s time at Florida, to Miller.

“Very similar guys,” Meyer said. “They’re both competitive human beings. They’re both very talented people. Braxton has more talent. Tim is probably more of a grinder.”
