I guess that was a sign of things to come. Luke Kuechly has simply been dominating up there at Boston College. It was routine for him to have 10-11 tackles by HALFTIME. That’s a full days worth of work for most players.

So far he’s taken home these following awards:

  • Lott IMPACT Trophy
  • Lombardi Award
  • Butkus Award
  • Nagurski Trophy

In case you are wondering Luke finished up with 191 tackles on the season.  Well deserved if you ask me!

]]> Mark Herzlich Selected With Next to Last Pick in UFL Draft http://www.mockdrafthq.com/2011/05/mark-herzlich-selected-with-next-to-last-pick-in-ufl-draft.html Tue, 03 May 2011 04:20:45 +0000 http://www.mockdrafthq.com/blog/?p=1551 Now, I have no idea if the UFL is drafting these players with the idea that they will actually play for them or not.  As far as I know, undrafted players are waiting for the NFL to be “back open for business” so they can negotiate free agent deals via their agents.

Either way, the story of Mark Herzlich didn’t end with him being a high NFL draft pick but hey at least he will play pro football.  I’m pretty sure he will end up getting a shot at the NFL though.
