Zay Flowers is a dynamic and explosive wide receiver from Boston College with impressive athleticism and speed. At 5’11 and 180 pounds, he possesses great acceleration and quickness that allows him to quickly separate from defenders and create big plays. Flowers has reliable hands and can make catches in traffic or in contested situations.

His route running is impressive, showing the ability to run crisp routes and create separation from defenders. Flowers also has the ability to track the ball well in the air and make adjustments to make catches.

When comparing him to a current NFL player, Flowers has drawn comparisons to Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City Chiefs due to his speed and ability to make big plays down the field. While Flowers may not be as polished as Hill yet, he has the potential to be a game-changing receiver at the next level.

The Butkus Association sent me the shortest press release of all time. It simply read:

KUECHLY WINS BUTKUS

I guess that was a sign of things to come. Luke Kuechly has simply been dominating up there at Boston College. It was routine for him to have 10-11 tackles by HALFTIME. That’s a full days worth of work for most players.

So far he’s taken home these following awards:

Lott IMPACT Trophy

Lombardi Award

Butkus Award

Nagurski Trophy

In case you are wondering Luke finished up with 191 tackles on the season. Well deserved if you ask me!

Either way, the story of Mark Herzlich didn’t end with him being a high NFL draft pick but hey at least he will play pro football. I’m pretty sure he will end up getting a shot at the NFL though.

via twitter:

With the 51st pick in @theUFL Draft, Omaha selects BC LB Mark Herzlich. Incredible story. Go get ’em, Mark!
