Here’s Why Klay Thompson’s Achilles Tear Means Golden State Warriors Dynasty Is Over

We got terrible news during the NBA draft. Klay Thompson suffered another setback and now 24 hours later we know how severe the injury is. Klay has a torn Achilles and will miss the entire 2020-21 season.

The Warriors traded for Andrew Wiggins and drafted James Wiseman but their season is over. Without Klay you wont have the luxury of falling behind in series knowing you have a guy like Klay who has made a career out of winning game 6’s by himself.

Outside of the obvious outside scoring punch, Steph, Klay and Draymond will all be a year older into their 30’s if and when they do come back together. It is time for the Warriors to consider trading Draymond and phase into a different version of the Warriors that we all knew these last 5 years.
