Former Draft Bust Robert Gallery Retires

Remember when Robert Gallery was supposed to be the next big thing? I remember when there were solid debates as to whether he or Eli Manning would be the #1 pick in the 2004 draft.
Eli went #1 and well… Gallery was not the correct answer at #2. To his credit once he moved inside to guard he actually became a good NFL starter, but nothing like the hype machine told us was coming.
Gallery retires after eight seasons, no Pro Bowls.
