Donovan McNabb Released By Minnesota Vikings

The end of Donovan McNabb’s career is going to be one of the saddest stories in the NFL in a while. Once thought of as a top 5 quarterback, McNabb has been traded to a division rival only to be dumped, and now dumped again by the Minnesota Vikings.

It just seems like the wind completely came out of the guy’s sails when Andy Reid sent him away with that vote of no confidence. Getting traded to a division rival is the ultimate sign of disrespect.

One day Donovan will hopefully write a tell-all book and talk about being booed by the fan’s as he was picked in the draft, being called out by Rush Limbaugh, dealing with Terrell Owens, and traded to the Washington Redskins. It’s going to be a good read and I look forward to reading it.

Maybe the Eagles will extend the olive branch and claim Donovan off waivers to backup Vince Young and Mike Vick? It would be nice.
